Zota were appointed to carry out essential repair to this grade II listed 18th century Rectory, set between the Bredon & Malvern Hills. Phase 1 involved overhauling the original windows, structural repairs, rebuilding 3 of the original chimneys, and full repointing.

Working alongside Holland and Green Architects and their Interior Design Studio, phase 2 saw the addition of a generous extension to create an open kitchen/dining area and a complete refurbishment. The building has benefitted from new electrical and mechanical throughout, as well as air conditioning, data, smart-lighting, and security systems. Alterations to the interior have been sympathetically completed, additional ensuite bathrooms along with reworked reception rooms, align with modern living but remain in keeping with the original building. Zota’s in-house joinery provided fitted furniture throughout including a large kitchen and bespoke island.

For phase 3, and in collaboration with the client and Holland and Green Landscape Studio, the scope included a large raised terrace with planter walls, completing a historic walled garden, bespoke green house and garden pavilion, along with new connecting paths and feature lighting.
